how does it work?

  • Toss your glass in the blue bin

No need to sort! Just throw all your clean glass recyclables in your blue recycling bin.

  • Leave at the end of your driveway

Put your bin out on your recycling pick-up day. Weโ€™ll drive by and pick it up.

  • We'll do the rest

Once we pick up your recyclables weโ€™ll take care of getting them recycled.

why should you recycle your glass?

There are billions of pounds of glass waste every year; it is the least we can do to recycle our glass rather than throw it in the dump. Our service only costs 11$ per pickup and will save you a lot of time and hassle. We are trying to help the community; Please let us help you help the environment.

our mission ๐Ÿ’š

Local Kids Recycling's purpose is to protect the environment and promote recycling to ensure a safe and healthy community for current and future generations.

pickup policy

We pick up glass every 2 weeks on Sunday (or every 4). There is a calendar where you can check the pickup dates. If you would like to skip the pickup or are out of town, you can text letting me know up until the morning of at 7:00 am. If you do not let me know beforehand that you will not be putting out your glass, you will be charged. If I make any mistakes, please reach out through text, and let me know. I will immediately refund or help resolve the issue. I have school and swimming so I cannot reliably call.
